Member of Linux BSP team in APSE (Application Processor System Engineer) at Marvell APSE which is original CHG at Intel.

a) For Tavor SOC Chip (PXA930):
1. Owner of Tavor BSP(2.6.14).
Bring up the Tavor Linux. Port almost all the drivers to Tavor EVBII platform and implement AC-IPC, enhanced rotary switch, USB 2.0 client, LCD and camera drivers for new peripherals on Tavor EVBII platform.
2. The Tavor Linux BSP code dropped on track in year 2007. Tavor Linux from V5.1a to V5.4 was code dropped/integrated/released to SQA on time.
3. Tavor got Design-Wins. Successfully support Tier 1 Tavor Linux customers.

b) For Application Processor (PXA3xx):
1. Owner of Camera, LCD/Smart Panel/MiniLCD, and 2D Graphic drivers on Monahans P/PL/L/LV (PXA3XX) processors in Zylonite Platform.
2. Owner of WLAN, SDIO/SD/MMC, GPIO expander and Fuel Gauging drivers on Monahans P/PL/L/LV (PXA3XX) processors in Littleton Platform.

c) For Communication Processor (PXA9xx):
1. Develop GPIO/EGPIO/GPIN, DMA, IRQ drivers on Hermon (PXA9xx) in Mathis Platform.

Develop embedded software for V2O Wireless Home Media Network, the world’s first wireless STBs(Set-Top-Box) capable of whole-home video streaming, featuring STmicroelectronics and Airgo True MIMO Media Reference Design

1. Port and optimize Linux USB STACK and SCSI kernel driver to STmicroelectronics Real Time Operation System, act as a team leader. (More than 60,000 lines codes: include USB1.1 and 2.0 host controller drivers, USB bus drivers, USB hub drivers, USB mass storage class drivers, SCSI middle drivers, SCSI disk drivers, special USB filesystem middle drivers for RTOS.) The bus debug tool is USB protocol analyzer.

2. Implement file transfer, mp3 and JPEG playing from USB devices.

3. Control audio and video output, such as volume change, mono or stereo output, SPDIF output, RF output, RGB, CVBS, C/Y and S-video output.

4. Control signal input and Implement DVB-S & DVB-C Tuner, LNB and Diseqc drivers.

5. Control IO output such as I2C, UART and SCART.

6. Collaborate with hardware team in circuit design, testing, problem solving and be selected as the coordinator between software team and hardware team.

7. Establish and maintain Concurrent Version System(CVS) service.



